The plan is to have the world tested and ready by the time that the High Rollers Crew is ready to play (i.e. The characters from the previous streams may be brought back as NPCs or guest characters. Once the seasons are finished, that group will be finished and a new group will be brought in for a new campaign set in the same world (this may be set in the same time, 10 years later or even 100 years later - as yet, this is undecided). Season 1 will cover Level 1-3 and Season 2 will cover Level 4-5. These two streams are designed to be play tests and are planned for two seasons. The You Tube VoD will be uploaded to Mark's channel and/or the HR channel. The players will stream to their own channel. Mark's stream will show the DM's perspective: the DM's map, dice rolls, and an animation for each character that will have basic animation (open mouth/closed mouth) to show who is speaking. It is planned that each player will host their own stream, as will Mark, but there will not be webcams. There is still a possibility of using DnDBeyond and Roll20. It will not be a High Rollers exclusive setting, as Mark has mentioned plans to run short campaigns within the setting as a shared universe, streamed on his Twitch. Unlike Aerois' Sci-Fi and Fantasy mix it will be a pure High Fantasy setting with many influences (such as Lord of the Rings and Records of Lodoss War, with additional inspiration from various games and anime), and will feature adjustments to various Dungeons and Dragons elements that Mark prefers to play in his world. It will take place in the world of Altheya - a Dragon focused homebrew world created by Mark with many new subclasses and lineages. The title “Legends of Altheya” will be used for the test streams done prior to the High Rollers taking on the setting as their third campaign: there is no indication yet of what that third campaign will be called, but Mark has indicated that it will have a different name. Legends of Altheya is the working title for what will become the upcoming third Main Campaign of High Rollers, set to begin after Aerois completes. ![]()
